About the Chicken Coops – Our Own Spin on Glamping
Having witnessed the wettest winter on record in 2015/16, we decided to offer our customers another affordable alternative to camping.
Designed and built exclusively for Dolgam campsite, they cater for people who love the outdoors all year round. The Chicken Coops offer climate-proof camping in tandem with maximum convenience. Whether you’re arriving late in the evening or you want to make an early start, all you need to do is unpack your sleeping bag!
With fully insulated walls, the Chicken Coops offer a degree of creature comforts, and protection from the elements.
Internal dimensions are 1.5m by 2.3m. To avoid disappointment booking is advised. The coops both sleep two people. Coop 1 has a flat floor, and coop 2 has one raised single slatted bed. Coop 2 has stable doors.
Guests in the Chicken Coops have use of the campsite facilities. An old traditional farm building has been converted into a shower block; containing toilets, hot showers, washing rooms and a washing up area.
With the majority of our customers visiting the area to enjoy its beauty and tranquillity, we operate a strict ‘no noise’ policy in the evening.
